Project Bolo English

For the academic year 2022-23, 300 schools including both budget private schools and semi-government schools registered with our program. We started working with learning centres for out-of-school children in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. The team also completed teacher training for ~4000 teachers who received spoken English application skills.

Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Betiyan Fellowship, a unique scholarship program was launched in 2021-22 in collaboration with Centre for Civil Society to encourage female students to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. The Fellowship provides financial support and mentorship to promote women’s access to and participation in STEM-related jobs in the manufacturing and production industries.

We are now inviting nominations for P&G Betiyan Fellowship 2023-24 from institutions offering STEM courses across Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa.

The Betiyan Fellowship coverage:

Financial support for academic costs to women enrolled in ITIs, Polytechnic and Engineering colleges.
Mentorship opportunities with accomplished women professionals in STEM fields.
Access to need-based career counselling.

Eligibility Criteria:

Female students pursuing STEM related courses in ITIs, Polytechnic and Engineering colleges.
Should be nominated by their institution.
Good academic performance and attendance in their course. In case of first year students, details of latest academic qualification will be considered.
Proof of need and merit should be established.
Institution should be located in any of the following states - Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa.
