The roundtable discussion was organised on the theme ‘Women in STEM: Policy, Practise & Interventions’ and witnessed participation from the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, IIT Delhi, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, Katalyst India, Rukhmabai Initiative, Cisco India, American India Foundation and several other renowned institutions. The roundtable was moderated by Ms Lakshmi Sampath Goyal, the Chief Executive Officer at Centre for Civil Society. It was divided into the following three segments: policies, practises, interventions. Each segment’s discussion was followed by a ranking poll using the Mentimeter tool. The recommendations from the segment were collated and the speakers were asked to rank the recommendations in order of importance. This mechanism also provided an insight into the level of agreement within the group on the several suggestions made during the discussion.
